At Good News Church, we have a “come as you are” environment. Whether you’ve never been to church before or you’re a Sunday regular, you’ll be welcomed. Because we know that attending a worship service for the first time can feel awkward for some, we have put together this page to let you know what you can expect during your time with us. Below are some commonly asked questions:

What happens sunday morning?

Sunday School for all ages (nursery through senior high as well as adults) resumes after a summer break and begins at 9:00 AM with our worship service beginning at 10:00 AM and lasting typically until 11:15 AM. Come and enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks in our welcome area immediately after the worship service.

what should I wear?

We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. The general rule is "Come as you are!" We want to meet your real-life needs and aren’t worried about what you wear.

What is available for children?

Our nursery (infant-2 years old) is staffed by friendly and loving members of our church, all of which have had background checks. We also have a program for the kids called Junior church (3 years old – Kindergarten). The kids sing songs that are age-appropriate, and the message is tailored to reach them. We want our children to love coming to church, and our worship nursery and Junior church are designed for that to happen. You are also welcome to keep your children with you during worship. You can rest assured that the safety and security of your children is a top priority at Good News Church.
